Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Eight or more years of professional experience is required.
  • OEM experience in parts operations required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Ability to develop, implement and manage plans and budgets
  • Communication skills to prepare and deliver formal presentations to executive management, Regions and Dealers.
  • Writing skills to prepare proposals and business correspondence.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Master's degree a plus.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Retailer Parts management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Project Management experience desirable.
  • Budget Management experience desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive wholesale and retail parts sales strategy to achieve annual revenue, gross profit, and market share objectives.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to increase wholesale parts sales through expanded partnerships with retailers, collision repair networks, fleet operators, independent repair facilities, and strategic distribution channels.
  • Oversee third-party vendor drop-shipped parts programs, fostering supplier partnerships, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, inventory availability, and driving sales growth.
  • Lead the development of sales initiatives, incentive programs, promotions, and business development activities designed to accelerate parts growth and retailer profitability.
  • Establish short and long-term strategic plans that align with Genesis business objectives and support sustainable growth across all parts sales channels.
  • Partner with Regions and Retailers to identify market opportunities, develop best practices, and implement action plans that improve wholesale penetration and customer retention.
  • Identify emerging industry trends, competitive opportunities, and market shifts to position Genesis for continued wholesale growth.
  • Analyze sales performance, pricing effectiveness, product mix, inventory utilization, and market opportunities to identify actionable growth opportunities.
  • Lead and optimize wholesale and retail parts sales programs to drive revenue growth, profitability, and partner success.
  • Partner with MOBIS, Sales, Owner Marketing, Product Planning, and Field organizations to increase parts and accessories revenue and profitability.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor team members responsible for parts sales operations, business planning, analytics, and program management.
  • Oversee the distribution of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance reporting and analysis.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business partners supporting sales programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets, forecasting processes, accruals, and financial reconciliations.
  • Develop sales tools, communications, program documentation, and promotional materials supporting wholesale and retail growth initiatives as needed.
  • Utilize data analytics to drive continuous improvement and optimize sales effectiveness.
  • Perform additional duties and strategic initiatives as assigned by management.
  • Creation and maintenance of group budget and business plan, including monthly accruals, ongoing monitoring and reconciliation. Includes overall department budget and individual budgets for above programs.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of direct reports, where applicable; develop employee business focus and plans for direct reports for the future.
  • Approve all time off, training, expense reporting, and miscellaneous spending for applicable programs and direct reports.
  • Approve and oversee all program and vendor activities within the Service Operations Department; review/approve all purchasing, contracts, budget, and billing services for vendor programs.
  • Budget approvals per the company signing authority matrix.
