With more than 40 offices on 5 continents, our forensic accountants specialize in a wide range of practice areas. Our assignments consist of disputes in commercial litigation, family law, fraud, business valuations, business disputes, natural and man-made catastrophes, lost profits, and insurance. Our partners and senior staff regularly provide extensive litigation services and expert witness testimony in courts, arbitrations and mediations throughout the world.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge and application of Insurance Loss Accounting Principles.
  • Extensive knowledge and application of Loss quantification methods and damage quantification techniques.
  • Investigative accounting skills to complete losses of all sizes and complexity.
  • Ability to identify relevant information to assess issues.
  • Ability to identify key and significant issues.
  • Ability to manage complete and accurate analysis to fully assess relevant issues.
  • Good working knowledge of Relevant rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Good working knowledge of Professional standards and code of ethics associated with insurance and litigation accounting assignments.
  • Good working knowledge of Various quantification approaches and professional standards.
  • Good working knowledge of The court system and the expert's role in the litigation process.
  • Obtained one of the following accounting designations: CPA, CA, CMA, ACA, ACMA, ACCA.
  • Developed a clientele that will keep at least 2 to 3 professional staff billable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assignments of any size from start to finish subject to final review of partner.
  • Attend file meetings and effectively communicate analysis results to clients.
  • Manage an office or business segment without any direct supervision.
  • Participate in the management of an office with existing partner, principal or officer and may have access to certain financial information regarding that office's performance.
  • Train and mentor junior staff.
