About The Position

The Senior Manager, Financial Systems & Reporting Transformation is responsible for leading the redesign of the company's financial master data — including the chart of accounts, cost centers, profit centers, product hierarchies, and dimensional reporting structures — with the objective of enhancing profitability insights, standardizing management reporting, and enabling seamless upstream consolidation with the parent company.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
  • CPA preferred (or equivalent)
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance transformation, or reporting at a public company and/or external audit of public companies. Public company experience is required
  • Hands-on SAP ECC experience is required, including a working knowledge of the FI/CO module, master data structures (chart of accounts, cost centers, profit centers, internal orders), and how master data drives sub-ledger and reporting outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to a financial master data redesign, chart of accounts redesign, or ERP finance transformation program
  • Experience or strong familiarity with AI/LLM-enabled finance tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT/Claude for data analysis, or AI-driven reconciliation modules inside major ERPs/EPMs)
  • Experience supporting or enabling consolidations into a parent company's reporting environment, including intercompany, elimination, and mapping conventions
  • Previous participation in existing internal control programs; strong understanding of SOX implications of master data and system changes
  • Data analytics experience preferred; comfort working with large data sets and reporting tools to validate and communicate the impact of master data changes
  • Project management skills — effective consultation, interpersonal, prioritization of topics/issues, and organization. Experience leading cross-functional transformation workstreams is strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data model decisions into business-relevant impacts
  • Must be a highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, from analyst to executive, and across accounting, IT, FP&A, and parent-company stakeholders
  • An objective, independent, mature, unbiased individual with the highest integrity
  • Superior problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end redesign of the company's financial master data structures — chart of accounts, cost centers, profit centers, functional areas, internal orders, product hierarchies, customer/vendor master, and reporting dimensions — to enable enhanced profitability, channel, and product-level reporting
  • Define the target-state data model required for seamless consolidation with the parent company's reporting environment, including alignment of GL accounts, entity structures, intercompany conventions, and dimensional hierarchies
  • Develop and execute the migration plan from the legacy fragmented environment to the redesigned master data model, including data mapping, cleansing, cutover, and validation
  • Establish master data governance (ownership, request/approval workflows, change controls, and audit trails) to preserve data integrity post-implementation
  • Partner with IT and the SAP functional teams to configure and validate master data changes in SAP ECC, ensuring downstream impacts to sub-ledgers, allocations, and reporting are fully understood and controlled
  • Spearhead process optimization efforts within key functional areas, including the month-end close process, consolidations, allocations, and monthly management reporting
  • Drive efficiency and process design improvements within major transaction cycles: Order to Cash (OTC), Procure to Pay (PTP), Inventory, and Fixed Assets — with particular focus on how master data drives accuracy, controls, and reporting granularity
  • Identify, champion, and execute opportunities to leverage IT solutions — SAP ECC configuration, reporting layers, and complementary tools — to create efficiencies and strengthen internal controls
  • Collaborate directly with global and regional business leaders to drive actionable roadmaps for process simplification and automation, ensuring solutions are pragmatic and scalable
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for financial data alignment with the parent company, ensuring the redesigned master data supports consolidated reporting, elimination entries, and management-view analytics
  • Partner with the parent company's controllership and FP&A teams to define mapping rules, submission cadences, and data quality standards
  • Support the design of the future-state consolidation process, including any tooling, mapping tables, or reporting bridges required to reconcile local and consolidated views
