About The Position

As a Senior Manager, FP&A, you will lead Zocdoc’s financial reporting, systems, and consolidations, using financial insights to inform executives and drive decision-making across the company. You’ll translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations, and build scalable processes that improve accuracy, timeliness, and executive readiness. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the financial planning process of the company and play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and long-term success of Zocdoc. We are looking for a leader with systems expertise, exceptional communication skills, and has a passion for driving financial excellence.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in FP&A/corporate/strategic finance with a track record of informing strategy in fast‑paced environments.
  • 5+ years leading FP&A teams or comparable leadership experience.
  • Proven stakeholder management and ability to guide teams through complex analytical challenges.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and reporting with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with strong problem solving and consistent delivery.
  • Demonstrated success selecting and implementing FP&A systems

Nice To Haves

  • Planful (or similar) experience is a plus.
  • Relevant industry exposure in technology, healthcare, and/or consumer marketplaces is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own executive‑ready financial reporting; define the right reporting to support decisions and deliver insights on performance drivers.
  • Oversee development of materials for Zocdoc’s board and investors.
  • Lead FP&A systems strategy; implement and optimize forecasting and reporting tools.
  • Drive process improvement across budgeting and forecasting; reduce manual work through automation and institutionalize best practices.
  • Own financial consolidations across the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, centrally managing assumptions and cadence.
  • Oversee FP&A support across multiple cost centers to align financial strategy with business objectives.
  • Provide strategic guidance on stakeholder communication and cross‑functional partnership.
  • Monitor outcomes versus forecasts, highlight risks and opportunities, and drive course corrections.
  • Set team direction and prioritization based on evolving business needs.
  • Lead ad‑hoc deep‑dive analyses to support strategic initiatives and executive priorities.
  • Mentor and develop Finance talent to raise the bar on collaboration and execution.
