About The Position

Starface is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to lead forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and analysis as we continue to grow and scale. In this role, you’ll report directly to our SVP of Finance. You’ll own key FP&A processes, strengthen how we forecast and report on the business, and partner cross-functionally to turn financial insights into informed decisions. The right person for this role is analytical, results-oriented, highly collaborative, and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Requirements

5-7+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or a related finance function
Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills, including scenario modeling, variance analysis, and ad hoc analysis
Experience working within a growing, complex business and navigating multiple financial and operational drivers
Highly analytical and metrics-driven, with strong judgment and the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights
Strong cross-functional partnership skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and navigate differing perspectives
Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution and taking ownership of key deliverables
Adaptable and solutions-oriented, with the ability to quickly understand existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Clear and effective communicator, particularly when translating complex financial information for different audiences

Nice To Haves

Experience in investment banking, private equity, or another analytically rigorous environment, and/or an MBA, is a plus

Responsibilities

Support Starface’s budgeting process and manage rolling forecasts, partnering with teams across the business to develop and pressure-test assumptions
Own budget-to-actual reporting and variance analysis, identifying key drivers of performance and translating findings into clear, actionable insights
Maintain and evolve financial models, including scenario modeling and ad hoc analysis, to support forecasting, strategic planning, and business decision-making
Build more robust cross-functional Finance touchpoints, partnering with teams across the business to strengthen planning and bring greater financial rigor to decision-making
Own and deepen Finance’s integration within the S&OP process, connecting financial forecasts with operational and commercial planning
Support management reporting, clearly communicating financial performance, changes in outlook, and the drivers behind them
Partner with the broader Finance team to support month-end close review and audits from a Finance and management perspective
Identify opportunities to improve and automate FP&A processes and reporting, including budget-to-actual reporting within NetSuite
Bring a commercial finance perspective to key business decisions, evaluating retail vs. DTC economics, promotional ROI, and new product and collaboration profitability to inform margin and growth decisions
Take ownership of key FP&A deliverables and meetings, continuously improving the tools, processes, and analyses that support our growing business
