About The Position
The Senior Manager, Finance plays a critical role in driving financial planning, analysis, and risk mitigation to support business performance. This position leads the development and enhancement of financial controls and reporting transparency while collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform strategic decisions. The role involves preparing complex financial models, communicating insights to senior management, and overseeing multiple business initiatives to ensure operational effectiveness. Additionally, the Senior Manager fosters team development, promotes adherence to company policies, and champions continuous improvement to deliver sustainable business results aligned with organizational goals. Our operations finance team is dedicated to delivering excellence in supporting both home office and field operations. As a vital part of Walmart’s ecosystem, the team plays a key role in advancing Health & Wellness initiatives that enhance the overall experience for patients and customers. The team focuses on financial planning, analysis, and risk mitigation while driving continuous improvement and business strategies. Collaboration across functions ensures effective financial management and transparent reporting. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
- 1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
- 1 year’s supervisory experience.
- Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling to support business performance and expense management.
- Proven ability to manage complex control structures and mitigate financial risks through effective process development and monitoring.
- Strong communication skills to present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to senior and executive management.
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams aligned with company values and ethics.
- Expertise in driving business plans, continuous improvement initiatives, and adapting strategies to meet operational and customer needs.
- Proficiency in collaborating cross-functionally to enhance reporting transparency and support informed business decisions.
