About The Position

Support the Senior Director, serving as a point of contact for the SAP Project, ensuring inclusive design decisions and successful business unit change management. In this role, the position partners with the Senior Director to align with dedicated business unit leaders on functional and data requirements and ensure business‑critical inputs are incorporated into the system design, while working closely with the SAP S/4 Solution Team and colleagues across the global Finance and Technology organizations, playing an active role in the finance digital transformation from design to deployment.

Requirements

  • Associate degree (AA) is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 7 or more years of experience with controllership/IT
  • Demonstrated understanding of SAP business processes (e.g., AP, RTR, OTC)
  • Understanding of agile project mgmt. and a record of accomplishment of on time delivery
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to keep momentum and drive change
  • Experience in organizational change management
  • Solution driven and results oriented
  • Ability to represent NBCU with third party implementors with a collaborative mindset
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability within functional and technical areas
  • Consistent attendance is a job requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous NBCU experience or professional work experience in an SAP ecosystem preferred, ideally in a Global context

Responsibilities

  • Interface with the UDX Finance department, S/4 Core Team, business units, System Integrator (SI), and Operations & Technology (O&T) to capture and analyze business processes, workflows, policies, tables, objects, master data elements, programs, and transactions related to the current ECC solution in order to: Translate UDX Finance business requirements into fit‑to‑standard SAP S/4 business process designs within the relevant NBCU Finance functions. Translate UDX Finance reporting requirements into SAP S/4 master data designs within the relevant NBCU Finance functions. Identify required master and transactional data to support future business processes and operational/analytical reporting and support a comprehensive impact assessment of the transition to SAP S/4.
  • Participate in workshops and sessions around business process analysis, process re-engineering, global templates, and value chain analysis.
  • Be the change agent to SAP S/4 transformation.
  • Challenge the status quo to ensure optimal balance of NBCU Enterprise and local business requirements and maintain good business relations.
  • Provide strategic thinking based on subject matter expertise (SME) for next generation ERP Finance Solutions for master data, implementation, and process design for UDX.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
