Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Enterprise finance platforms and architectures, especially ERP-driven finance environments
  • Oracle Fusion Finance, financial accounting, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, intercompany, consolidation, and reporting processes
  • Master Data Management patterns across customer, supplier, product/item, chart of accounts, legal entity, location, and related enterprise data domains
  • Finance data flows, accounting controls, operational reporting, analytics, and reconciliation processes
  • Data governance, data stewardship, data quality, metadata, and enterprise data ownership models
  • Architecture patterns supporting multi-entity enterprises and acquisition-driven environments
  • Strong system-level thinking and architectural judgment
  • Ability to translate finance, accounting, and master data processes into scalable technology architectures
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts in clear, business-oriented language
  • Stakeholder management across finance, accounting, data, applications, and business teams
  • Work independently with minimal oversight
  • Operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

  • Experience supporting Oracle Fusion, ERP finance transformations, reporting modernization, MDM, or data governance strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, system harmonization, master data consolidation, or multi-entity environments strongly preferred

  • Architecture, cloud, finance systems, data management, or data governance certifications preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise architecture for finance and master data capabilities across QXO and acquired operating companies, including record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash financial integration points, financial planning, controls, and enterprise master data domains
  • Define and evolve the target finance and MDM architecture supporting QXO’s Oracle Fusion ERP platform and adjacent systems across finance, data, analytics, integrations, and acquired company landscapes
  • Support acquisition diligence by evaluating finance system landscapes, master data structures, reporting dependencies, and defining pragmatic integration strategies for newly acquired businesses
  • Design scalable architecture patterns that enable QXO to rapidly integrate acquisitions while progressing toward standardized enterprise finance and master data platforms
  • Define, document, and enforce architectural standards and patterns for finance platforms, master data flows, data governance, integrations, and reporting dependencies across the enterprise
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Data & Analytics, Applications, Engineering, Security, and Integration teams to align architecture decisions, data ownership, sequencing, and execution plans
  • Translate finance, accounting, and enterprise data objectives into clear technical decisions and practical architecture recommendations
  • Guide platform and integration decisions across ERP, EPM, financial reporting, data lakehouse, MDM, customer, supplier, product, chart of accounts, and legal entity structures
  • Identify architecture risks early and reduce operational disruption during acquisitions, ERP transitions, reporting changes, and master data harmonization efforts
  • Balance speed and pragmatism with architectural coherence across a rapidly growing, acquisition-driven enterprise
  • Influence teams and stakeholders to align on architecture decisions without direct authority
  • Provide clear recommendations and say “no” when required, with credibility grounded in financial control risk, data quality, integration impact, cost, and delivery feasibility
