About The Position

OceanAir Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management to lead and continuously enhance our Enterprise Risk Management Program. In this key leadership role, you will oversee enterprise-wide risk governance, risk and control assessments, compliance governance, regulatory change management, vendor risk management, and ongoing risk monitoring. You will work closely with leaders across the organization to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks while supporting a strong culture of accountability, compliance, and risk awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, three to five years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of governmental regulations and compliance activities related to credit union operations
  • Ability to analyze and interpret regulations and communicate their organizational impact
  • Strong written communication skills, including experience preparing professional policies, procedures, reports, correspondence, and presentations
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, and project management abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency with email, internet applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and compliance-related software
  • Leadership experience that includes coaching, motivating, delegating, providing feedback, and supporting employee development
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Ongoing education and training in BSA and compliance is required

  • NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer designation or a similar compliance certification is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administer and enhance OceanAir’s Enterprise Risk Management framework, methodology, standards, and governance practices
  • Lead the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of enterprise risks
  • Maintain the enterprise risk and control taxonomy, centralized risk inventory, ownership assignments, and regulatory mappings
  • Own and facilitate the Risk and Control Self-Assessment program across business departments and enterprise functions
  • Partner with department leaders to assess inherent risk, control effectiveness, and residual risk exposure
  • Track corrective actions, mitigation plans, emerging risks, and control deficiencies
  • Conduct annual, targeted, and thematic enterprise risk assessments
  • Support risk assessments for new products, strategic initiatives, technology implementations, third-party relationships, and operational changes
  • Develop risk heat maps, Key Risk Indicators, dashboards, scorecards, and management reports
  • Present risk findings and recommendations to executive management, governance committees, the Supervisory Committee, and the Board of Directors
  • Support the Credit Union’s Compliance Management System and regulatory change management activities
  • Coordinate compliance-related policies, procedures, training initiatives, and committee reporting
  • Administer the Vendor Management Program, including third-party risk assessments, due diligence reviews, and ongoing monitoring
  • Review vendor contracts, SOC reports, business continuity plans, information security assessments, financial statements, and insurance documentation
  • Monitor complaint trends, root causes, and potential compliance, operational, and reputational risks
  • Lead, coach, and develop assigned Risk Management staff
  • Support regulatory examinations, external reviews, strategic planning initiatives, and organizational projects
