About The Position

The Senior Manager of Enterprise Integrations is a key leadership role within the Enterprise Applications IT team, responsible for the strategic vision, architecture, and delivery of a broad portfolio of enterprise-wide integrations providing data movement services between the numerous SaaS applications in use within Kendra Scott. This role serves as the ultimate owner of the Boomi integration landscape, driving the integration strategy to support omni-channel retail operations. You will manage and mentor the integration engineering team, oversee third-party vendor relationships and resource allocations, own the integration budget, and partner closely with business and IT executives to align integration capabilities with overarching corporate goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant IT field.
  • Minimum of 4 years in a Senior Manager or Director capacity leading enterprise integration onshore / offshore teams and managing technology budgets.
  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on integration architecture and development experience in a medium/large-scale environment, with deep, recent expertise in Boomi administration, development, and monitoring.
  • Extensive background in a fast-paced Consumer Retail environment, with a strong understanding of retail data flows (e.g., POS, OMS, WMS, ERP, eCommerce platforms).
  • Solid knowledge of API frameworks, REST/SOAP web services, JSON, and proficiency in communication protocols (FTP, SFTP, HTTP/S, AS2, VAN).
  • Experience configuring infrastructure in cloud computing environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure), alongside SQL proficiency with major database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Strong SDLC project management background in delivering complex integration solutions using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Objective leader with excellent communication skills, capable of translating and presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical executive audiences.
  • Strong problem solver who easily adapts to constantly changing environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or TOGAF Certification is preferred.
  • Experience with other integration tools such as Matillion, Mulesoft, Workato, Tibco and/or Webmethods.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the enterprise integration strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with objectives in all business areas (Retail, eCommerce, Wholesale, Enterprise).
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of onshore / offshore integration developers and managed services support resources. Conduct performance reviews and foster a culture of continuous engineering improvement.
  • Plan optimal level of FTE and staff augment resources; ensure all resources are assigned to prioritized support / build activities and are delivered on time/budget with quality.
  • Own the integration domain budget. Lead vendor selections, contract negotiations, and relationship management for software and service providers, ensuring strict adherence to SLAs.
  • Develop and enforce integration policies, technical standards, governance frameworks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the production environment.
  • Partner with PMO, Infrastructure, and application / business stakeholders to prioritize the project portfolio, articulate technical dependencies, and evaluate technical levels of effort for enterprise initiatives.
  • Participate in the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and Change Advisory Board (CAB) for the integration domain, ensuring highly scalable, secure, and resilient architectural designs.
  • Oversee the administration, optimization, and scaling of the Boomi integration platform and its auxiliary tools.
  • Conduct advanced design architecture reviews, gap analyses, and assessments for complex API, event-driven, and batch integration workflows.
  • Design robust infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and automated error-handling mechanisms to ensure maximum uptime for mission-critical retail systems.
  • Drive best practices for scaling the integration landscape, including configurations and deployments, automated testing, source control, and infrastructure.
