Sr Manager, Enterprise Data Platform & Governance

Kestra Medical Technologies Inc.•Kirkland, WA
•$185,000 - $215,000

About The Position

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Data Platform & Governance owns Kestra’s enterprise data platform and the standards governing how company data is used. Reporting to the CIO, this role leads the transition to Microsoft Fabric, defines enterprise data architecture, and operationalizes the Master Data Management (MDM) program. It establishes the rules, certified data models, and guardrails that enable analysts embedded in business functions to produce reports and insights safely and consistently. This is a platform and governance leadership role rather than a report-development role. The Senior Manager directs outsourced engineering, administration, and development resources, with the opportunity to build an internal team as the platform matures. The role also advises functional leaders as Kestra develops a governed data foundation for AI, automation, and evolving enterprise systems. The role owns the design, implementation, and operation of the enterprise data platform, including the Microsoft Fabric transition from the current Azure-based environment. It defines and maintains data architecture, including Lakehouse design, semantic models, ingestion patterns, and development, test, and production environments. It manages capacity, performance, reliability, and cost, and advises the CIO on licensing and capacity needs. It maintains analytics continuity as source systems evolve, and prepares governed data models and products for AI and automation use cases. The Senior Manager operationalizes MDM, establishes governance for reporting and BI content, implements data protection controls in partnership with IT Security and Compliance, and enables self-service users through certified datasets, templates, documentation, training, and office hours. The role advises functional leaders, manages outsourced technical resources and vendor performance, coordinates with IT on application integrations and system changes, and supports compliance, validation, and audit readiness. It directly supervises team members, including performance reviews, feedback, and professional development goals. The position works in a fast-paced office environment with noise typical of an office. Extended hours may be needed, and occasional travel of less than 10% is expected. Kestra manufactures life-saving products regulated by the FDA and operates under contract with Medicare; drug testing is a condition of employment. Applicants must be eligible to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
