About The Position

The Enterprise Data Architect will play a foundational leadership role in shaping that future. Reporting to the Director of IT – MarTech & Data Platforms, you'll work closely with business and technology partners to define and build the architecture for Torani's evolving data ecosystem. You'll bring the technical expertise to make thoughtful architecture decisions. As our capabilities grow, you'll build and lead our internal data engineering capability, developing people and establishing the standards, partnerships, and ways of working that allow Torani to increasingly own and evolve our data platforms. Requirements

7+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related technical roles, including 3+ years designing or leading enterprise data architecture solutions.
Deep knowledge of modern cloud data architecture, data modeling, integration patterns, and enterprise data pipelines.
Hands-on experience with modern cloud and data technologies such as Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or comparable platforms.
Experience building or scaling data engineering capabilities, including leading technical talent and effectively leveraging external partners.

Responsibilities

Established a clear architecture and roadmap for the foundational data platforms that will support Torani's next era of growth.
Defined the target state for our Operational Data Store, Data Lakehouse, and enterprise data pipelines, making thoughtful decisions about how data should be structured, integrated, governed, and delivered across the ecosystem.
Established practical architecture and engineering standards that brought greater consistency to how Torani's data was modeled, moved, integrated, and delivered.
Worked closely with internal teams and external partners to turn complex technical requirements into clear guardrails and reusable patterns for data modeling, pipelines, APIs, orchestration, and integration.
Built the foundation for a strong internal data engineering capability and developed a team equipped to grow with Torani's evolving data needs.
Thoughtfully balanced internal talent and external expertise, bringing in the right partners to accelerate our journey while intentionally building greater capability and ownership within Torani.
Became a trusted partner who made a complex and rapidly evolving data landscape understandable and approachable across Torani.
Translated business needs into scalable technical solutions, and brought the right partners together to work through decisions and tradeoffs.
Became a trusted steward of Torani's long-term data architecture, ensuring major platform, integration, and technology decisions supported both today's business needs and the ecosystem we're building for tomorrow.
