We are seeking an Engines Sensors Program Manager (Senior Manager, General Management). In this role, you will be accountable for the full lifecycle of engine sensor programs—from initial onboarding through long-term performance. You will oversee program execution, financial results, customer satisfaction, and strategic positioning for sensor-related engine programs. This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and a deep understanding of complex aerospace program management and operational delivery. This position will be onsite at our Burnsville, MN facility and requires 10-15% domestic and international travel.

Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
• Program, project, product, or contract management experience within aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing
• Experience managing high-value programs or customer-facing initiatives
• Full experience with program management processes for efforts exceeding $20M in value
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

• Experience with program management systems including manpower planning, scheduling, cost controls, and earned value management
• Experience in operations, production flow management, and supply chain oversight
• Experience supporting proposal development, program planning, and customer negotiations
• Knowledge of aerospace policies, quality standards, manufacturing requirements, and program management practices
• Strong financial acumen including forecasting, budgeting, and margin management
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and improving operational outcomes

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary owner for assigned engine sensor programs, accountable for all commitments including performance, delivery, financial outcomes, and key service-level metrics
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as the central point of contact for commercial, technical, and operational discussions related to engine sensor programs
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams with matrixed responsibilities to ensure program commitments are met or exceeded
• Monitor program financial and operational performance, including cost, schedule, margin, forecasting, and risk mitigation
• Support strategic decision-making and long-term planning, providing inputs to the Strategic and Financial Plan (SFP) for assigned sensor programs
• Manage changes to program scope, ensuring accurate communication, approval, and coordinated execution across internal teams and with the customer
• Identify and drive process improvements that enhance sensor program execution, operational flow, and customer satisfaction
• Negotiate, influence, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain alignment and achieve business goals
• Lead decision-making where data may be incomplete, applying critical thinking and business judgment
• Prepare and deliver internal and external business reviews, providing updates on program status, risks, opportunities, and long-term strategy
