At BC Place, a division of BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo), we work to create unforgettable moments, world-class experiences and stronger connections to community, industry and culture. As Western Canada's leading venue for live events, we host a year-round schedule of sporting events, concerts, consumer shows and more each year while also supporting the community through an array of ongoing partnerships and initiatives. 2026 is one of our busiest and exciting years yet. BC Place is hiring a Senior Manager, Engineering Department who is both results and relationship oriented. We require a leader who prioritizes efficiency while ensuring their team feels fulfilled and motivated. Experience in electrical engineering or as a Journeyman Electrician is highly valuable, as the Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing the stadium’s complex power systems and ensuring all technical operations run safely and reliably. In the fast-paced environment of a stadium, even minor oversights can lead to significant consequences. Attention to detail is crucial for the Senior Manager to identify potential issues before they escalate. Whether monitoring facility maintenance, reviewing event setups, or managing electrical and mechanical systems, a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of facility management are essential for ensuring a flawless experience for spectators and staff alike. Reporting to the Director, Facility Operations, the Senior Manager typically works Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm. Given that BC Place is a sports and entertainment venue, the Senior Manager will be required to work at certain events during the year. As required, the Senior Manager will support the stadium through on-call availability for emergency callouts.
