About The Position

The Sr. Manager of Digital Marketing & eCommerce is the strategic lead for Hess Persson Estates' digital ecosystem and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) sales channel. Bridging brand storytelling with commercial results, you will oversee eCommerce, UX, and digital marketing (U.S. Trade and DTC) to drive growth, innovation, and a personalized consumer journey.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree + 5–8 years relevant experience. Wine/Bev Alc or Luxury CPG experience is essential.
  • Expert in Commerce7 (or similar winery POS), Klaviyo/Mailchimp, Google Analytics (GA4), SEO/SEM, and Meta Business Suite.
  • Strong experience managing agencies, budgets, and mentoring teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on KPIs/ROI; confident presenter and public speaker.

Responsibilities

  • eCommerce & UX Ownership: Manage the Commerce7 sales channel, product catalog, and merchandising. Lead Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives, SEO strategy, and site management while ensuring ADA and Tied House compliance.
  • Lifecycle & Retention: Drive revenue and club retention through targeted email (Klaviyo) and SMS campaigns. Utilize data to build high-conversion audience segments.
  • Strategy & Agency Management: Translate business goals into digital execution. Manage external agencies, budgets, and timelines to ensure high-performance delivery.
  • Social & Content: Own the high-level Social Media strategy. Mentor the Digital Marketing Coordinator on day-to-day execution and community engagement.
  • Data & Analytics: Monitor performance via GA4 and Meta. Translate data into actionable insights for Sales and Leadership.
  • Trade Support: Empower the Wholesale Sales team with digital tools, assets, and training.
