About The Position

This person sits within the Global Organizational Learning & Development Team (GOLD), reporting into the People Strategy & Culture function. This role leads enterprise digital adoption, systems learning, and workforce enablement across in-scope corporate systems, while directly managing two Organizational Learning Advisors, Enterprise Systems. The role oversees adoption strategy for platforms including Medidata, Certinia, LMS, Workday, Percipio, Microsoft 365, Copilot, Teams Rooms, Zoom, and other systems as assigned. It ensures implementations, releases, enhancements, new modules, new hire needs, refresher training, remediation, and sustainment are supported by role-based learning, performance support, stakeholder communications, LMS-integrated training, adoption metrics, and continuous improvement. Functional teams retain ownership of technical deployment, configuration, validation, security, compliance programs, and business outcomes; this role leads the learning and adoption strategy required to help employees use systems effectively and consistently.

Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills in a matrixed, global environment.
Analytical mindset with ability to measure learning effectiveness, adoption outcomes, proficiency gaps, support trends, and remediation needs.
Excellent written, verbal, visual, and executive communication skills.
High digital fluency across enterprise platforms, LMS tools, content authoring tools, analytics, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
Familiarity with the regulatory, quality, and operational environment of clinical research is advantageous.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Communications, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Clinical Research, Organizational Development, or related discipline; master’s degree preferred.
8–10 years of experience in learning, enterprise systems enablement, digital adoption, change management, workforce enablement, systems training, clinical operations training, or enterprise application training, including experience supporting complex implementations, releases, adoption programs, or global rollouts.
Prior L & D people management experience, including coaching, goal setting, performance management, workload prioritization, capacity planning, team development, and quality oversight.
Experience leading or overseeing systems training and adoption across platforms such as Medidata, Certinia/CAIR, Salesforce-based tools, LMS, Workday, Percipio, Microsoft 365, Copilot, collaboration tools, ERP, HCM, CRM, or other global corporate systems.
Experience partnering with system owners, SMEs, EPMO, IT, Clinical Systems, Finance, Project Operations, process owners, QA/compliance, HRIS, Corporate Communications, LMS administrators, and business leaders to scope needs, validate content, manage review cycles, coordinate publishing, and maintain materials after launch.
Working knowledge of regulated or validated systems training, including GCP, 21 CFR Part 11, audit readiness, role-based access, controlled content, completion records, release impacts, and compliance-ready documentation where applicable.
Ability to define, monitor, and act on learning and adoption metrics such as completion, readiness, proficiency, utilization, feature adoption, time-to-competency, support trends, remediation needs, and post-launch outcomes.

Certifications such as Prosci, CCMP, ATD CPLP/CPTD, Microsoft Service Adoption Specialist, Microsoft 365 Certified, instructional design, or related enterprise systems/change certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise digital adoption and systems enablement strategy across Medidata, Certinia, LMS, Workday, Percipio, Microsoft 365, Copilot, Teams Rooms, Zoom, and other assigned systems, including governance, intake, prioritization, stakeholder engagement, annual planning, and KPI re-baselining.
Manage Organizational Learning Advisors, Enterprise Systems, including coaching, feedback, goal setting, performance management, development planning, capacity planning, workload prioritization, and quality oversight.
Establish consistent standards, templates, and operating practices for systems learning, including needs analysis, audience confirmation, learning objectives, curricula, assessments, LMS publishing, communications, approvals, release readiness, and sustainment planning.
Oversee learning and enablement plans for system implementations, releases, enhancements, new modules, new hire training, refresher training, remediation, and adoption campaigns, ensuring alignment to go-live dates, release milestones, validated-system needs, financial controls, role-based workflows, and business adoption goals.
Guide the development of role-based learning journeys, job aids, quick reference guides, instructor-led and virtual sessions, videos, eLearning, office hours, workshops, embedded guidance, and other performance support resources.
Serve as the senior learning advisor and escalation point to determine whether stakeholder needs require training, communication, process clarification, system support, access guidance, remediation, or a combined solution.
Partner with EPMO, IT, Clinical Systems, Finance, Project Operations, HRIS, QA/compliance, system owners, process owners, SMEs, Corporate Communications, instructional designers, LMS administrators, and business leaders to scope needs, validate readiness, coordinate approvals, and reverse-plan from go-live or release milestones.
Ensure enablement coverage for Medidata and Certinia, including Medidata CTMS, Clinical Data Studio/CDMP, Rave Study Conduct/EDC, eTMF/RCM, eCOA/ePRO, RTSM/IRT/IWRS, RBQM/OPRA-related workflows, and Certinia time entry, resource management, forecasting, reporting, project management, revenue, financial operations, and related Salesforce-based workflows.
Ensure enablement coverage for corporate platforms such as LMS, Workday, Percipio, Microsoft 365, Copilot, Teams Rooms, Zoom, collaboration tools, and other business systems, with emphasis on workflow adoption, practical use, accessible performance support, and measurable proficiency.
Publish a recurring Digital Adoption & Enablement scorecard with adoption insights, utilization trends, learning completion, proficiency indicators, support trends, remediation themes, business value narratives, and recommended actions.
Coordinate learning plans with business-owned communications so learners understand required actions, business rationale, system impact, and available support.
Represent GOLD in cross-functional forums related to enterprise systems, clinical systems, financial/project operations systems, HR systems, LMS strategy, Copilot/AI, digital adoption, process adoption, and workforce capability.
Maintain reusable governance artifacts, templates, communication assets, release materials, adoption toolkits, measurement approaches, embedded guidance standards, and AI-enabled content methods to scale support across systems, functions, regions, and roles.
Use learner, SME, helpdesk, system owner, and stakeholder feedback to improve training, performance support, adoption, and remediation cycles.
