About The Position

Upstart is hiring a Senior Manager, Data Science to lead its Marketing Science team, which sits within the Growth, Product, and Ops Analytics organization. The team measures marketing against funded loans, using its view of the customer journey from first touch to funded loan. The Senior Manager will set analytical priorities, promote experimentation and rigorous measurement, provide actionable explanations of performance, and build a team recognized as a strategic partner. This is a remote role available in the United States and Canada, subject to the stated Canada hiring limitation. The team operates across East and West Coast time zones. Employees are encouraged to attend in-person team onsites; most teams meet once or twice per quarter for two to four consecutive days. The anticipated base salary range is $195,300–$270,400 USD for the United States and $182,800–$230,000 CAD for Canada. Compensation varies by location and individual qualifications. The package also includes target bonuses, equity compensation, and benefits.
