Business Intelligence and Analytics / Information & Technology About the Role: As the Senior Manager, Data Products & Analytics, you'll lead the strategy, development, and delivery of data products that help the Atlanta Community Food Bank make smarter decisions and increase our impact across Georgia. In this role, you'll partner with leaders across the organization to transform complex data into meaningful insights, modernize our analytics capabilities, and build scalable solutions that empower teams to make informed decisions. You'll also help advance the responsible use of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to apply these capabilities to improve decision-making, increase efficiency, and extend the impact of our work. You'll lead a team responsible for delivering trusted data, meaningful insights, and innovative analytics solutions that support the Food Bank's strategic priorities. By partnering with teams across the organization, you'll help transform data into actionable information that improves operations, strengthens decision-making, and advances our mission to end hunger.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in analytics, data strategy, computer science or business intelligence.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Azure ecosystem (Data Factory, Integration Services, Synapse, Fabric).
  • Familiarity with supply chain or distribution business environments
  • Demonstrated experience developing Power BI reports, managing semantic models, and automating data workflows.
  • Working knowledge of geospatial tools such as ArcGIS and their integration into business intelligence use cases.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions and insights.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Possess good working knowledge with Python, SQL, and PowerApps
  • Team leadership or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or co-lead workstreams in the development and maintenance of the Food Bank’s data systems, including a data lakehouse analytics environment. Ensure data is organized, accessible, and optimized for analysis and reporting in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Design and manage semantic models that unify business definitions, enable consistent reporting, and support governed self-service analytics across the organization.
  • Develop and optimize DAX calculations (measures, time intelligence, row-level security) to deliver accurate, performant insights for dashboards, scorecards, and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Facilitate data governance initiatives by engaging stakeholders across domains to define metrics, maintain data quality, and align on standards and access controls.
  • Partner with the Information Architect to advance the Food Bank’s enterprise data platform, including data architecture, integrations, governance, and semantic modeling capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the Information Architect to ensure data products and analytics solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and long-term technology strategy.
  • Lead the maturation of ACFB's data product operating model, establishing domain ownership, shared governance, and self-service analytics capabilities that align with data mesh principles.
  • Oversee the development and lifecycle management of data products that support ACFB processes, decisions, and strategic priorities.
  • Manage solutions built in Power BI, Azure, Power Platform, and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring clear documentation, stakeholder alignment, and actionable design.
  • Oversee the administration and adoption of the PolicyMap environment, ensuring stakeholders have access to geographic, demographic, and community data that informs strategic decision-making and program effectiveness.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities using low-code tools, cloud services, and scripting to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Perform and oversee analyses that explore data in business context, applying statistical techniques, performance metrics, and visualization to uncover insights.
  • Lead performance management reporting and help stakeholders track key KPIs and operational benchmarks.
  • Promote strong problem-solving frameworks, incorporating both exploratory analysis and structured diagnostic approaches.
  • Communicate complex findings to diverse audiences through compelling storytelling, strong visualization, and consultative dialogue.
  • Build trusted relationships across Food Bank departments, fostering a culture of curiosity, data fluency, and continuous improvement.
  • Execute department strategy by translating goals and initiatives into actionable plans for the team.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high performing team of data analysts. Ensure team members are productive, engaged, and meet performance expectations.
  • Provide hands-on support to team members, guiding them through challenges and offering real-time coaching and feedback.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, implementing improvement plans and ensuring adherence to organizational standards.
  • Facilitate communication between staff and upper management, ensuring clarity on expectations, priorities, and progress.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members, ensuring they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Foster a positive team environment, promoting collaboration, accountability, and strong morale within the department.
  • Track and report team metrics to department leadership, identifying areas for improvement and success in meeting goals.
