Outfront Media•New York, NY

About The Position

OUTFRONT Media is hiring a Senior Manager, Data Engineering to lead and grow its Data Engineering team within Data & Analytics. This is a player-coach role combining team development and performance management with hands-on work in architecture, code, technical reviews, and solving complex engineering problems. The role will set engineering standards, own the data product backlog and delivery plan, and lead Agile delivery in Jira, Confluence, and the Atlassian ecosystem. The Senior Manager will build and maintain scalable data pipelines, models, and warehouse structures using AWS, Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran. The role owns the backend data foundation for dashboards, reporting, self-service analytics, and data science, with attention to reliability, speed, cost, and maintainability. It will also lead practical adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools and develop AI-enabled data solutions using AWS Amazon Bedrock and Snowflake Cortex, with safeguards for privacy, security, access, cost, and human review. The role partners with analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to define KPIs and deliver scalable data products. It drives data quality, documentation, monitoring, incident response, and cost management across Snowflake and AWS. The position also requires developing engineering talent, aligning technical and business stakeholders, and communicating complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
