About The Position

This role leads strategy and execution for DashPass, a high-priority marketplace business at DoorDash. The position involves partnering with a cross-functional team to drive customer acquisition, increase customer value, and improve profitability. The individual will be responsible for creating best-in-class customer experiences, focusing on incubating new benefits to enhance user engagement and retention. This role requires deep expertise in industry best practices and a drive for innovation. The opportunity involves inventing the future of local commerce, driving significant impact through initiatives that elevate DashPass, leading 0 to 1 initiatives for new benefits, and transforming strategies into operational experiments with measurable outcomes. Close collaboration with product, engineering, data science, and marketing teams is expected, along with clear communication of strategy and results to all audiences, including senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant management experience.
  • Experience scaling products and initiatives from 0 to 1.
  • Proven track record of driving significant, company-wide impact.
  • Ability to move quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to figure out a way to make almost anything happen; a playmaker.
  • Clarity of thought and ability to articulate a clear vision to cross-functional partners.
  • Skilled in executive management and communication, especially at managing up and across.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and thriving in ambiguous, startup environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in building the team necessary to fulfill the strategy.
  • Ideally, experience within a Marketplace or Subscription-focused business and/or founder experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy and execution for DashPass.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on customer acquisition, customer value, and profitability.
  • Own new benefit incubation to drive user engagement and retention.
  • Apply deep expertise and stay current with industry best practices and benchmarks.
  • Drive 0 to 1 initiatives, leading experimentation, launch, and scaling of net new benefits.
  • Transform strategies into operational experiments with measurable and actionable outcomes.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams on product, engineering, data science and marketing.
  • Communicate strategy and results to all audiences, including management and senior leaders.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop team members.
