About The Position

This role will help lead day-to-day operations of Starbucks’ in-house photo studio, blending hands-on photography with senior-level production leadership and post-production expertise. The position is responsible for executing high-quality photography, managing high-volume studio production, and overseeing post-production workflows to ensure consistent, on-brand delivery at scale.

Requirements

  • A college degree or equivalent professional experience in photography, visual arts, communications, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in studio photography and/or post-production environments, ideally supporting high-volume or production-driven work
  • Strong proficiency in studio photography, including lighting, composition, and camera systems
  • Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with experience in professional retouching, color correction, compositing, and post-production workflows
  • Proven ability to manage multiple assets, priorities, and deadlines with a high degree of consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in a production environment

Responsibilities

  • Execute studio photography production – Photograph products in a controlled studio environment using consistent lighting, angles, and workflows to ensure visual consistency.
  • Lead production operations and workflows – Co-manage production calendars and shot lists, track progress across shoots and post-production, and improve efficiency through streamlined workflows.
  • Own post-production quality and standards – Perform and oversee professional retouching, compositing, and color correction using Adobe tools to deliver consistent, on-brand assets.
  • Partner cross-functionally – Collaborate with creative, operations, production, marketing, and brand teams to meet brand and usage requirements.
  • Support innovation and tooling – Test and adopt new tools, including AI-assisted solutions, to improve photography and post-production productivity.
