About The Position

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Strategy, leads the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive Walmart’s financial and business objectives. Requirements

  • Extensive experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or related roles within complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to lead and structure ambiguous, high-impact problems, translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and scenario planning to evaluate strategic trade-offs and inform executive decisions.
  • Experience synthesizing inputs, including data, competitive dynamics, and internal perspectives, into compelling, executive-ready narratives.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Track record of owning and delivering large-scale, end-to-end initiatives with measurable impact.
  • Strong business judgment and strategic thinking, with an ability to connect external trends and disruptions to enterprise priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related area and 5 years’ experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align on priorities, inform key decisions, and ensure successful execution of critical initiatives.
  • Develop robust financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate strategic options, trade-offs, and long-term value creation.
  • Identify and assess external disruptions, emerging trends, and competitive dynamics to inform strategies and accelerate growth.
  • Drive end-to-end ownership of strategic projects, including defining scope, managing timelines, and delivering measurable impact at scale.
