In this role you will interact with and support the entire organization. You will be responsible for implementing new and efficient solutions for managing the IT infrastructure while incorporating generative AI solutions. This position will be based in or near one of our office locations (New York, Chicago, Dallas, Santa Clara). We are unable to consider remote workers or people not currently based in the United States, and who have employment authorization.

  • Oversees the organization’s computer and information technology systems, ensuring they are secure, accessible, and functional.
  • Develops and maintains internal controls to safeguard the company’s data security. This includes implementing security measures, monitoring for threats, and responding to incidents.
  • Provides technical expertise and support to other departments. This includes answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and providing training.
  • Trusted advisor to the executive team on corporate IT matters, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Conducts regular IT systems analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
  • Coordinates with security partners, internal and external, for relevant assessments and audits of the company's IT infrastructure (e.g. penetration testing, relevant ISO compliance, etc.)
  • Maintains relationships with relevant vendors and partners to ensure IT systems are maintained and that new technologies are available when needed.
  • Stays up-to-date with relevant corporate IT standards, regulations, and industry best practices, recommending process improvements as needed.
  • Collaborates with colleagues to foster a culture of cybersecurity across the organization.
  • Manage IT personnel by performing one on ones, performance reviews, and developing career growth.
  • Manage office and telecommunication locations, including Zoom room setup and provisioning.
  • Manage software security updates for Windows/Mac and network devices.
  • Manage campus networks across multiple locations.
  • Automate deployment and imaging of desktop and laptop devices.
  • Create and maintain scalable infrastructure in both a private and public cloud environment using AWS, Google, and O365; Contributing to the security and integration of on-prem systems and on-prem cloud environments.
  • Expert knowledge of device management and automation using Intune or Jamf to manage Mac and Windows computers.
  • Expert knowledge of vulnerability and patch management.
  • Expert knowledge of cloud platforms O365 and Google Workspace.
  • Expert knowledge of identity management using SAML, EntraID, or other SSO tools.
  • Strong knowledge of cyber security standards (HIPAA, ISO27001, or SOC2).
  • Strong knowledge of campus networks (WiFi access points, internet, QoS, and mobile).
  • Strong knowledge of meeting and conferencing solutions (Zoom and Google Meet).
  • Strong knowledge of IT support ticketing systems.
  • Strong Knowledge of current Generative AI solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on information security, computer science or related field.
  • 10 or more years’ experience in IT Systems Administration and/or management roles
