About The Position

As a Corporate Development Senior Manager, you will support the Fiserv growth agenda by identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic transactions that expand our capabilities and market reach. The Mergers & Acquisitions team partners closely with business unit leaders to develop actionable recommendations and drive deals from sourcing through integration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 4+ years experience in equity research or mergers & acquisitions (investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or other transaction advisory).
  • Strong capabilities in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis, including discounted cash flow, accretion dilution, leveraged buyouts, etc.
  • Experience with financial modeling best practices and industry standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other advanced degree.
  • Experience managing external advisors (investment banks, law firms, accounting/transaction services) through deal execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead research and analysis on new growth opportunities, including acquisitions, strategic investments, and integrated commercial partnerships that align to Fiserv client needs and strategic priorities.
  • Evaluate target positioning within industry and solution segments; assess competitive landscape, market dynamics, and key risks.
  • Create and maintain financial models and valuation analyses (discounted cash flow, comparable company, precedent transactions, accretion/dilution, pre/post-money scenarios) to support decision-making and business case development.
  • Partner with Business Unit Strategy, Product, and Finance leaders to produce financial and competitive analysis, prepare executive-level presentations, and support internal approval processes.
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional due diligence and deal execution across Finance, Legal, HR, Risk, Technology, Cyber, and third-party advisors (e.g., counsel, transaction services).
  • Participate in structuring, negotiating, and reviewing principal commercial and legal transaction terms and documentation (letter of intent, purchase agreements, non-disclosure agreements).
  • Drive pre-closing integration planning and support post-close integration readiness, including orchestration of integration playbooks and alignment with integration PMO.
  • Assess and recommend process improvements for strategic initiative execution, due diligence workflows, and integration readiness.
