The Senior Manager, Accounting is responsible for overseeing the General Ledger accounting team. This role involves managing accounting processes and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance. The position requires directing the development, implementation, and administration of the company’s operational accounting and internal controls, overseeing the monthly closing process, and ensuring the integrity of the company’s financial data. The role also involves providing guidance on accounting issues, ensuring consistency in accounting policies and compliance with GAAP, and assisting with the annual financial audit and budget preparation. Collaboration with other departments such as Accounts Payable, Finance, Revenue Accounting, and Fixed Assets is essential. A strong understanding of SAP, Mexico accounting and reporting requirements, and process improvement is also necessary. The role includes training and mentoring department staff.
