About The Position

As a Senior Manager, Content Merchandising at Tubi, you will oversee the strategy, planning, and execution of merchandising initiatives that drive content discovery, engagement, and retention across the platform. This role blends creative curation with operational discipline, data-driven insights, and close partnership with Product and Data Science to optimize for machine learning and personalization. This role includes people management responsibilities in addition to leading complex campaigns, building scalable merchandising practices, and delivering best-in-class user experiences. This is a hybrid role based out of our Los Angeles office. You must be willing to travel to our Los Angeles office four days/week.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience in content merchandising, editorial strategy, or digital media.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional campaigns from planning through execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of applying data insights to content and merchandising decisions.
  • Experience partnering with Product and Data Science teams on personalization, recommendation systems, or content discovery.
  • High proficiency in Airtable, including workspace architecture, automation, and ongoing system management in an operational context.
  • Proficiency with CMS, merchandising tools, and workflow/project management systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • People management experience.
  • Passion for entertainment and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end merchandising strategies and go-to-market planning for priority titles, franchises, and tentpole campaigns.
  • Partner with Product and Data Science to optimize content placement, contribute editorial inputs into recommendation systems, and refine personalization models.
  • Translate performance data, experimentation results, and audience insights into actionable merchandising strategies.
  • Manage editorial calendars, ensuring alignment with programming, marketing, and product priorities.
  • Develop scalable workflows, automation, and tooling to increase merchandising efficiency and impact.
  • Create and manage Airtable workspaces, including building scalable bases, views, automations, and dashboards to support merchandising, editorial planning, and cross-functional workflows.
  • Oversee merchandising experimentation, including A/B testing of placements, tags, and campaign strategies.
  • Directly manage employees responsible for asset creation and team operations, while providing mentorship and guidance for junior Merchandising team members
  • Support content acquisition and programming teams by surfacing merchandising opportunities tied to content avails.
