About The Position

Revolution Medicines is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercialization FP&A to support our growing Global Commercialization organization. The Senior Manager, Commercialization FP&A will be a key operational finance partner across Global Commercial Development, US Commercialization, and Global Medical Affairs teams. This role reports to the Senior Director, Commercialization FP&A and is based out of our headquarters in Redwood City, CA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 6+ years’ experience in a similar role in biotechnology industry.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and AI automation (Codex, Claude Code).
  • Experience working effectively in a demanding environment with minimal direction.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to adjust workload based on changing priorities.
  • Highest standards of accuracy, precision, and diligence; highly organized.
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and initiative-taking.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross-functionally with demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize options, anticipate challenges, and execute corporate goals.
  • Strong analytical and advanced excel skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing financial systems and other business intelligence tools; NetSuite, Adaptive Insights (including OfficeConnect), and Coupa experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support Global Commercialization FP&A cadences including annual budget, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning; partner with functional leaders to align assumptions, timing, and resource needs and utilize FP&A systems (Adaptive) for consolidation and reporting.
  • Own and deliver executive-ready management reporting packages (budget vs. actuals, forecast updates, regional/product P&L views as applicable) and clearly communicate key insights, risks, and opportunities.
  • Drive monthly variance analysis of actuals vs. budget/forecast; investigate discrepancies, understand key business drivers, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support to enable decision-making, including spend tracking, benchmarking, and scenario analysis (e.g., resourcing trade-offs, vendor strategy, and investment prioritization).
  • Lead the monthly accounting close process for Global Commercialization OPEX, including preparation of month-end OPEX accrual journal entries and review of open POs, invoices, and service completion status in coordination with Accounting/Procurement and functional operations teams.
  • Establish and maintain governance for PO coding and mapping to ensure alignment to business initiatives, accurate initiative-level reporting, and scalable cost management practices.
  • Maintain a continuous improvement mindset across processes, systems, and reporting—identifying opportunities to standardize, automate, and strengthen controls as Revolution Medicines scales into a global, fully integrated commercial-stage company.
