In this vital role, the Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics (Patient & Access Analytics) leads the development of analytics, reporting, and strategic insights that enable data-driven decision making across the Patient Access organization. This role serves as a trusted business partner by translating complex data into actionable recommendations that improve patient access performance and business outcomes. The successful candidate combines advanced analytical expertise, technical proficiency, project leadership, stakeholder management, and people leadership to deliver innovative analytical solutions and drive continuous improvement across the GCCI/BAI organization. Flexible Commuter role to Deerfield, IL OR Thousand Oaks, CA office. You will work on-site 2-3 days a week.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of Business Strategy, Commercial Analytics, Patient Access Reporting, Analytics and Business Insights experience OR Master's degree and 4 years of Business Strategy, Commercial Analytics, Patient Access Reporting, Analytics and Business Insights experience OR Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Business Strategy, Commercial Analytics, Patient Access Reporting, Analytics and Business Insights experience OR Associate's degree and 10 years of Business Strategy, Commercial Analytics, Patient Access Reporting, Analytics and Business Insights experience OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Business Strategy, Commercial Analytics, Patient Access Reporting, Analytics and Business Insights experience

  • Experience supporting Patient Access, Market Access, or Commercial organizations within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of patient access analytics, reporting, and performance measurement to support strategic business decisions.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to identify business needs, uncover trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into compelling business narratives and executive-level recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize patient access strategies through analytics, targeting, and performance monitoring.
  • Develop scalable reporting solutions that provide timely, accurate, and actionable insights for business partners.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics using SQL, Tableau, and other analytical tools.
  • Apply structured analytical methodologies to solve complex business problems.
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and reporting consistency.
  • Continuously improve reporting capabilities, analytical frameworks, and automation opportunities.
  • Lead multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop project plans, manage dependencies, communicate milestones, and proactively identify risks.
  • Balance competing priorities while aligning work with strategic business objectives.
  • Drive process improvements that increase operational efficiency and analytical effectiveness.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of analytics professionals across both onshore and offshore resources.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor team members and build organizational analytical capabilities through coaching and knowledge sharing.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in patient access analytics and performance measurement.
  • Partner closely with Patient Access, Market Access, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other Commercial stakeholders to deliver business value.
  • Build strong partnerships across the GCCI/BAI organization, promoting collaboration and a One GCCI/BAI mindset.
  • Influence business strategy through data-driven recommendations and thought leadership.
