About The Position

Coming Soon to Chesterfield! Located at 10031 Nash Road, VCU Health Chesterfield Pavilion will be a four-story, approximately 100,000-square-foot ambulatory surgery center and medical office building, bringing comprehensive, patient-centered outpatient care closer to residents in one of Virginia’s largest counties. Scheduled to open in April 2027, the state-of-the-art facility will bring together surgical services, diagnostics, infusion therapy, pharmacy services, innovative care models, and more in a single, convenient location for Chesterfield residents. We are hiring team members now to help build the future of outpatient care from the ground up in one of Virginia’s fastest-growing communities. The Senior Manager, Clinic Operations manages and coordinates all administrative, managerial, ambulatory operations and clerical functions required for the operation of a highly complex patient care area or areas.

Requirements

• Seven years of relevant experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
• Two years supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field or commensurate education and experience in lieu of a degree.
• CPR

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of ambulatory care and a background in clinic procedures.
• IDX and Cerner experience a plus.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Health Care Administration, Nursing or related field.
• Nursing or other clinical training a plus.
• RN License highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Has accountability for the performance and results of assigned patient care area(s).
• Develops business, operational, production and organizational priorities in conjunction with Clinical Leadership for assigned patient care area(s).
• Provides leadership to Ambulatory Operations Management team consisting of both business and clinical leads within assigned patient care area or areas.
