Responsibilities

  • Coordinates day-to-day data management tasks including reviewing data management documents within a project area to ensure a consistent approach, reviewing project timelines and metrics to ensure databases are delivered to set timelines and approving database locks and unlocks.
  • Supports the development, review and implementation of processes, policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and associated documents affecting data management.
  • Reviews and approves study-specific training and leads vendor results and relationships at the project level.
  • Leads electronic submission activities and assists with responses to questions and findings from clinical quality assurance and other audits at the study and vendor level.
  • Oversees database status with respect to key performance indicators, metrics and program level deliverables and timelines.
  • Maintains regular communication with relevant stakeholders and senior management regarding project level issues including processes, timelines, resourcing and performance.
