Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field and 3 years’ experience in real estate development, engineering or architectural design, construction management, project management, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in real estate development, engineering or architectural design, construction management, project management, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage civil engineering design and development for real estate projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local codes.
  • Oversee external consultants by establishing deliverables, reviewing documentation, and approving expenditures.
  • Drive site planning, technical due diligence, and entitlement processes, coordinating with stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues.
  • Develop and implement cost containment strategies by identifying inefficiencies and recommending design alternatives.
  • Provide supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.
  • Promote adherence to company policies, ethics, and standards while supporting continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
