About The Position

WHOOP is an advanced health and fitness wearable, on a mission to unlock human performance and healthspan. WHOOP empowers its members to improve their health and perform at a higher level through a deeper understanding of their bodies and daily lives. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Capital Planning to lead capital improvement initiatives across our global leased facility portfolio, partnering closely with the VP of Office Experience and Facilities to deliver high-impact, future-focused spaces. This role will drive projects from initial planning and scope development through execution and closeout, ensuring each initiative enhances operational efficiency, employee experience, and long-term asset value. By combining strong financial oversight, vendor management expertise, and cross-functional collaboration, you will play a critical role in shaping and scaling the physical environments that support our teams and fuel WHOOP’s continued growth. This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in construction project management, capital planning, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, and vendor performance
  • Available to work outside of core business hours when needed to support vendor coordination and project execution
  • Ability to travel occasionally, including internationally, to support expansion projects
  • Upbeat and positive attitude, with a willingness to go above and beyond
  • Passion for fitness, health, and technology
  • Ability to work in person four (4) days per week at the Boston HQ

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage capital improvement projects throughout an international leased facility portfolio, from planning and scope development through execution and closeout
  • Execute strategic facility improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, employee experience, and long-term asset value
  • Develop, own, and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets; track milestones and proactively mitigate risks
  • Engage, negotiate, and manage architects, engineers, contractors, and other vendors to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
  • Review and approve project submittals, change orders, and payment requisitions with strong financial oversight
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align projects with business priorities
  • Assist with the management and coordination of facility maintenance projects to ensure operational continuity
