About The Position

NBC Philadelphia is seeking an experienced, highly driven Senior Manager, Brand & Strategic Marketing to help lead and execute the day-to-day marketing strategy across NBC10, Telemundo62, and NBC Sports Philadelphia. You will be in a key #2 leadership position within the marketing organization, responsible for turning strategy into action and ensuring creative excellence across all platforms. As an ideal candidate, you: Are a big-picture thinker who loves the details. Like to take big swings on ideas rooted in business needs, audience insight, and measurable impact. Understand how brand marketing and content marketing work together to grow audiences, strengthen loyalty, and drive both short-term results and long-term brand equity. Reporting to the Vice President, Brand & Strategic Marketing, you will oversee the daily creative and marketing execution for the Triopoly, including on-air promotion, creative services, digital and social marketing, streaming initiatives, and viewer engagement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Broadcast industry experience required; Sports experience a plus
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends as needed
  • Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Hands on Leadership: Execute day-to-day strategic plans by actively developing, launching, and optimizing marketing campaigns.
  • Creative Execution: Inspire creative and digital teams, including design, editors, writers, and producers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Relationship Management and Trust: Build and cultivate strong partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure brand-alignment and sound strategy recommendations.
  • Digital Expertise: Profound knowledge of traditional and digital marketing and emerging digital technologies. Have a deep understanding of all social channels, established and emerging, and audience growth tactics with experience with creative, and relatable storytelling through social media.
  • Analysis & Insight: A strong reliance on data analysis to measure performance against set critical metrics annually. These insights will lead to recommendations for optimization across all platforms.
  • Strong Communicator and Natural Problem Solver: Requires the ability to have influence and impact within a matrix organization across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Vice President, Brand & Strategic marketing to develop an effective Triopoly brand and multiplatform marketing strategy.
  • Own the day-to-day execution of the marketing plan, coordinating priorities, timelines, and deliverables to keep campaigns moving.
  • Ensure marketing content aligns with our news, lifestyle and sports brand identities and message for each distribution channel including tone, creative input and cadence.
  • Work with sales to create unique opportunities and solutions for local advertising clients across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with sports teams to produce co-branded content that connects fans, partners, and amplifies station brands.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, editors and producers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Demonstrate return on investment, by utilizing data and analytics to inform decision making and transform online engagement into real world value.
