About The Position

Senior Manager, Brand and Product Marketing Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Brand and Product Marketing to join the Emerging Payments Marketing team. In this role, you will be a fungible marketing athlete leading portfolio messaging and upper funnel marketing strategies for our Emerging Payments products, including Paze, Virtual Cards, and other digital wallets and payments tools. You will work at the intersection of brand strategy, content storytelling, and product marketing, translating complex payments concepts into clear, compelling and impactful narratives. This role is responsible for driving awareness and consideration of our digital payments products through full-funnel, integrated marketing strategies. You will partner closely with product management, brand, PR, site, and creative teams as well as external agencies to drive measurable growth and ensure a cohesive customer experience across every touchpoint. What You’ll Do Integrated Campaigns: Build awareness and consideration of digital payments products through upper-funnel paid, owned, and earned strategies. Develop and oversee the execution of integrated campaign strategy and overarching messaging. Editorial & Content Strategy: Develop and oversee editorial strategy across PR, social media, influencers, and sponsored content in partnership with enterprise brand and PR teams. Co-Marketing: Develop co-marketing opportunities leveraging other Capital One brand assets (such as sponsorships, Cafés, branches, arenas, and lounges). Paid Media & Channel Innovation: Develop and execute paid media campaigns, improve targeting of existing channels and test into new channels. Measurement and insights: Develop and execute appropriate measurement frameworks to gauge impact and optimize future campaigns. Conduct primary and secondary audience research to understand our customer-base and inform our marketing strategies. Portfolio messaging and thought leadership: Deeply understand the product strategy and our target audience, and develop portfolio-level messaging and content to uplevel our storytelling and help Capital One show up as a thought leader in the digital payments space. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Military Experience.
  • At least 7 years experience in brand strategy or product marketing experience on the agency or client side, with experience managing multiple channels
  • At least 2 years of experience managing stakeholder relationships
  • At least 5 years of experience in planning, executing and analyzing marketing programs

Nice To Haves

  • Product Marketing experience at a tech company, ideally marketing B2C or B2B2C products
  • Experience building full-funnel marketing campaigns, including upper-funnel/awareness campaigns using paid/owned/earned strategies, content marketing, core positioning work, and direct response marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear messaging for both consumer and business audiences.
  • Highly collaborative working style with the proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive organizational alignment without formal reporting authority.
