The Senior Maintenance Technician performs skilled maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities across multiple craft areas with limited supervision. The Senior Maintenance Technician also serves as a resource for technicians, vendors, and customers while helping ensure operational continuity, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout UT MD Anderson. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital or healthcare facilities environment, with a strong background in maintenance operations, building systems, and regulatory compliance. They possess advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, preventative maintenance experience, and proficiency with Building Automation Systems (BAS). Successful candidates demonstrate the ability to respond effectively to priority and emergency situations, maintain accurate documentation, and utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), with MAXIMO experience considered a plus.
