About The Position

As a Maintenance Senior Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. The candidate will be working as part of a team in a call center client critical environment.

  • 3 years of job-related maintenance experience
  • Commercial maintenance experience strongly preferred, with demonstrated mechanical skills to work on chillers, boilers, pumps, and similar equipment
  • Candidate will be working in a call center / client critical environment
  • Must be able to do a lot of walking throughout the day
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial HVAC experience (described as a huge plus)
  • HVAC certifications highly preferred
  • Plumbing certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the quality of own work.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
  • Complete daily work orders including PMs (preventive maintenance) and RMs (reactive maintenance).
  • Perform light electrical work.
  • Perform basic plumbing tasks.
  • Perform general maintenance duties.
  • Perform basic HVAC tasks.
  • Waste removal.
  • Assembling furniture.
