About The Position

Weinstein Properties is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Maintenance Technician for their 3Sixty Flats property in Grand Prairie, TX. This is a 'working' lead role where the technician will assist in managing and coordinating a service team to ensure efficient upkeep, inventory, and repair of the property's grounds and buildings. The role involves diagnosing and making repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure, and appliances. The Senior Maintenance Technician will also assist with scheduling and supervising in-house and vendor work, and will be part of an on-call rotation. The effective performance of the service team is crucial for maximizing rents and maintaining high occupancy through professional maintenance practices, quality control, and adherence to policies and procedures. The service team is customer service-driven, aiming to create a lasting positive influence on visitors, prospects, and residents. Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of trade-related experience.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on apartment maintenance supervisory experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance.
  • EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal).
  • Hands-on HVAC repair experience required.
  • Computer skills: ability to use business software for work orders, scheduling, ordering supplies, and email communication.
  • Willingness to share on-call duties with other team members.
  • Valid driver's license, transportation, and tools required.
  • Must pass a DMV, background, and criminal check.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate activities of a service team to ensure efficient upkeep, inventory, and repair of grounds and buildings.
  • Diagnose and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure, and appliances.
  • Assist with scheduling and directly supervise all in-house and/or vendor work.
  • Share on-call duties with other team members.
  • Follow professional maintenance practices, use quality control, and follow policies/procedures.
  • Provide customer service to residents.
