The City of Brentwood is seeking a dependable, experienced, and hardworking team member to join the Public Works Department as a Senior Maintenance Technician. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, being outdoors, operating equipment, and helping keep the community safe, clean, and well-maintained. Senior Maintenance Technicians perform a variety of important public works duties related to road maintenance, drainage, erosion control, signage, right-of-way maintenance, brush collection, and other essential City services. The Public Works Department maintains more than 500 lane miles of roadway and right-of-way, replaces and maintains street signs, collects brush from each residence once per month, performs right-of-way mowing and street sweeping, and maintains storm sewer infrastructure including culverts, catch basins, and open ditch systems. The department also supports traffic operations as needed. The City of Brentwood, located in scenic Williamson County just south of Nashville, is one of Tennessee’s most desirable suburban communities. The City is known for its strong business community, quality schools, abundant recreational opportunities, and high standard of living.
