Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Mainframe environment
- Expertise in mainframe solution design, implementation, and defect resolution.
- Skilled in PL/1 unit testing and maintaining system documentation.
- Proven leadership in code reviews, team mentorship, and knowledge management.
- Experienced in driving software development cycles and meeting deadlines.
- Track record of optimizing processes and aligning technical strategies with business needs.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted tools for debugging, log analysis, and automation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-level mainframe solutions, optimizing code and ensuring best practices.
- Lead defect resolution, troubleshoot system-wide issues, and minimize operational disruptions.
- Develop and execute PL/1 unit tests, enforcing quality standards and collaborating with QA teams.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and foster team growth through technical guidance.
- Maintain detailed system documentation and drive improvements in development processes.
- Oversee feature implementation, ensuring timely delivery and lifecycle adherence.
