About The Position

This position combines expertise in traditional Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) with advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based M&S to address complex and emerging military challenges. The successful candidate will apply innovative modeling, simulation, AI, and analytical techniques to support operational planning, mission analysis, and force-level decision-making. The position offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of military operations, Modeling and Simulation, Artificial Intelligence, and advanced analytics. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of novel, scalable AI-based M&S capabilities with the potential to transform how complex military problems are analyzed and how missions are planned and executed.

Requirements

• Expertise in traditional Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) Modeling and Simulation (M&S)
• Expertise in advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based M&S
• Innovative modeling, simulation, AI, and analytical techniques
• Support operational planning, mission analysis, and force-level decision-making
• Applying Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI technologies
• Conducting large-scale, complex analyses that integrate diverse data, models, simulations, and AI capabilities
• Developing innovative AI-enabled M&S approaches that are scalable, adaptable, and capable of addressing emerging operational challenges
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to translate complex military problems into innovative analytical and simulation solutions

Responsibilities

• Conducting operational planning and analysis using advanced modeling and simulation techniques.
• Developing and applying force-level Modeling and Simulation (M&S) capabilities to evaluate complex military operations and scenarios.
• Designing novel visualization methods to communicate complex simulation results and operational insights effectively.
• Applying Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI technologies to support mission planning, execution, and decision-making.
• Conducting large-scale, complex analyses that integrate diverse data, models, simulations, and AI capabilities.
• Developing innovative AI-enabled M&S approaches that are scalable, adaptable, and capable of addressing emerging operational challenges.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to translate complex military problems into innovative analytical and simulation solutions.
