Requirements

  • Post secondary education in Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in Logistics dealing with carriers, negotiating pricing; well versed in both domestic and transborder conditions of carriage; Experience with LTL, Truckload, courier, road, rail modes of transportation
  • Ability to multitask and a self-starter
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • familiarity with LoadLink
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

  • Exposure to FLX and Revenova is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Communicate daily with carriers and customers to support smooth transportation operations.
  • Work closely with ASL Fleet to maximize asset utilization and support service requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and partner carriers.
  • Prepare and provide customer rate quotes as required.
  • Communicate service issues promptly and develop effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
  • Research carrier cost discrepancies and work with Accounts Payable and Billing to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound loads with ASL operations and customers.
  • Complete order entry accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Track orders and provide updates as needed to support service visibility.
  • Prepare reports as required, including on-time performance reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned
