About The Position

Bowhead seeks a Senior Logistics Analyst (Technical Publications) to join our Tactical Communications and Electromagnetic Warfare (TCE) team in Stafford, VA. This role involves conducting administrative and technical activities for logistics acquisition documentation and supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in developing and executing Technical Publications strategies. The analyst will also support the evaluation and adoption of Commercial Manuals or develop Operator, Field Level Maintenance, and Intermediate Level Maintenance Manuals when necessary. Responsibilities include preparing, coordinating, and reviewing Technical Publications, incorporating changes, and maintaining electronic documentation libraries.

Requirements

  • BS / BA degree required.
  • Seven to nine (7-9) years of professional experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite (ie. MS Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.
  • US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

  • Experience supporting government or military environments is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct the administrative and technical activities required to develop, review, update, and deliver logistics acquisition documentation (i.e., Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Fielding Plans, Technical Manuals, Facilities Impact Reports, Item Unique Identification Plans, Disposal Plans, SL-3s, I-Type documents).
  • Coordinate, host, and participate in logistics events and activities (i.e., LOG Demos, Product Support Analyses, Independent Logistics Assessments, Audits, Test Events).
  • Provide advanced technical writing and editing support for formal acquisition documentation and technical publications, ensuring consistency, formatting, language, grammar, technical accuracy, and compliance with applicable references, specifications, directives, and style guides.
  • Coordinate with PMO personnel and stakeholders throughout the documentation lifecycle, from document inception through review, adjudication, PM approval, signature, publication, and subsequent revision.
  • Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in the development and execution of system Technical Publications strategies consistent with program milestones and schedule requirements.
  • Support the evaluation and adoption of Commercial Manuals when appropriate and, when Commercial Manuals are not adopted, support the development, review, and delivery of Operator, Field Level Maintenance, and Intermediate Level Maintenance Manuals.
  • Develop, review, edit, and deliver Technical Publications in accordance with MIL-DTL-28999D(MC), MCO 5215.17D, Marine Corps Systems Command Technical Publications Handbook ALPS-HDBK-004, and other applicable program requirements, specifications, directives, and style guides.
  • Prepare, coordinate, review, and support submission of TDM-Publications Change Requests, and incorporate approved engineering, configuration, maintenance, logistics, and program changes into applicable Technical Publications.
  • Maintain electronic documentation libraries and repositories, including document organization, version control, status tracking, and maintenance of current/authoritative documentation.
  • Support ad-hoc requests for information, documentation updates, and other Technical Publications requirements as directed by the PMO.

Benefits

  • Targeted salary range is $85,000 to $100,000 annually based on qualifications and experience.
