About The Position

Tactica Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Logistician for a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contract supporting the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4 for the Logistics Operations Division in Colorado Springs, CO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline. Relevant work experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree, similar to Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) Crediting Combinations of Education and Experience standard.
  • 10+ Years demonstrated/practical experience collaborating and planning with appropriate personnel to coordinate and/or execute operations.
  • Familiar with AR 700-138.
  • Experience planning, managing, and coordinating the total life cycle logistics support for assigned systems, integrating separate functions of supply, maintenance, procurement and quality assurance into logistics activities.
  • Employee must possess and maintain IA computing environment certifications and access levels in accordance with DoD Directives (DoDD) 8140/8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M0002. IA certification and access levels vary depending on the functional category the employee is performing in and are in accordance with USARCC-C PWS Table 2 Information Technology Access and IA Certification Requirements.
  • Broad understanding of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
  • Ability to work outside normal work hours at short notice as dictated by workload.
  • Ability to travel outside the US.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to interpret and explain company policy concerning MEC safety practices to executives, managers, employees, and clients.
  • Intermediate user level of computer systems; Microsoft office software (word, excel, outlook), inventory databases, and documentation control systems.
  • Valid Driver License.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with NETCOM and US Army Logistical Support processes and procedures including inventory and accountability procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage property book operations utilizing GCSS-Army and related systems, coordinating with the Property Book Officer on transactions and discrepancies.
  • Provide advisory support to G-44 Division Chief on supply readiness, property accountability metrics, and logistics status.
  • Prepare and present status updates, briefings and reports to senior military and civilian leadership.
  • Plan, conduct and oversee cyclic and annual property inventories; prepare reconciliation reports and corrective action documentation.
  • Review and approve transaction documentation including hand receipts, shortage annexes, turn-in records, and equipment transfer requests.
  • Develop and update supply SOPs and training materials, mentor junior supply technicians on regulations, systems, and procedures.
  • Coordinate end to end logistics operations, including procurement planning, warehousing, distribution, and asset management.
  • Support the movement/deployment of personnel, equipment, and supplies to ensure timely delivery in support of mission objectives.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with organizational supply chain policies.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment actions to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Provide logistics input to operational plans, contingency plans, and mission support strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal sections (G1–G9), mission support divisions, and external units to synchronize logistics activities.
  • Participate in logistics working groups, planning conferences, and coordination meetings.
  • Manage Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPL).
  • Other duties as assigned.
