About The Position

As a Senior Receivables Processor, you will be supporting the Bank's Receivable Operation, which enables customers to accept electronic and traditional paper-based payments. You will capture remittance information using efficient technology services and transfer information to output files and reporting. You will work with a team of Receivables Processors to expedite collections of payments and the posting of payment information, while focusing on a high level of customer service and providing a professional, prompt, and accurate banking experience. Your key responsibilities will include data entry, quality control, and balancing/reconciliation of deposits. You will be responsible for supporting the Receivables Supervisor in executing a comprehensive, prompt, and efficient client experience. You will support the daily workflow and ensure a smooth and efficient operation. You will execute a variety of routine tasks which may include sorting mail, extracting payments and/or correspondence, reviewing payments to ensure accuracy, and scanning of deposits using high-speed optical scanners. You will ensure strict processing deadlines are met prior to designated cutoff times. You will assist in the training and development of new employees, perform advanced research, and may handle high-value clients.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of related experience in Branch Banking Operations or similar field.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Back office receivables operation experience.
  • Ability to 10 key by touch and perform alphanumeric data entry with a high level of accuracy.
  • Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.
