About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team. You will manage a high-volume queue, make critical corrections, and ensure compliance with investor guidelines. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac standards and experience working with a variety of loan products.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of loan processing experience.
• Strong understanding of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines.
• Experience with conventional loans, FHA, and VA loans.
• Knowledge of VA funding fees and COE requirements.
• Ability to identify and verify documentation, including large deposits.
• Experience with purchase transactions (not just refinances).

• Encompass experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process urgent loan files and ensure closings within tight deadlines.
• Manage a queue of 40–50 loans and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Make adjustments to cash-to-close amounts, debt-to-income (DTI) ratios, and seller credits.
• Restructure loans as needed during closing.
• Review borrower documentation, including credit reports and bank statements.
• Apply investor guidelines and add conditions to loans.
• Collaborate with branch operations teams to resolve issues and finalize loans.
