About The Position

LRS Architects' Senior Living Studio is seeking intermediate to advanced level architects and interior designers passionate about creating environments that enrich lives and foster community. The studio has a strong portfolio of award-winning projects and is expanding due to new opportunities. Requirements

  • A passion for design that enhances quality of life and community
  • Curiosity, empathy, and a collaborative mindset
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in teams
  • Flexibility and foresight to anticipate project needs and meet deadlines
  • A desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive studio environment
  • A professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Interior Architecture
  • Proficiency in Revit (from intermediate to advanced)
  • Familiarity with design, building codes, technical documentation, and consultant coordination

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Senior Living projects is strongly preferred
  • Experience in Multifamily Housing, Hospitality, or similar project types will also be considered
  • Additional skills such as SketchUp, Bluebeam, or Enscape are a plus
  • Licensure, certification, or accreditation (NCIDQ, LEED, WELL, etc.) are encouraged but not required

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design process, from early concepts to construction documents
  • Communicate with clients, consultants, and jurisdictions to support project success
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure design, technical, and budget goals are met
  • Help guide design documentation using Revit and other software tools
  • Support or lead construction administration activities
  • Manage your own workload and mentor and guide others
  • Play a role in translating client vision into thoughtful, human-centered environments
