About The Position

The Senior Living Cook works at The Crest at Lakeville, a Silvercrest Community, helping provide high-quality food and service to residents. The role also supports culinary team training, dining-area safety and upkeep, and tasks assigned by the Dining Director. This is a full-time day position with hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and a required weekend rotation. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is paid at 6, 12, and 18 months of successful employment. Applicants must be able to produce a negative drug test and may be subject to a background check. The organization may change or assign duties as business needs and job requirements evolve.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• ServeSafe Certification, or willingness to obtain it within 90 days of hire; certification is employer-provided.
• Ability to produce a negative drug test.
• Ability to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position, with reasonable accommodations provided upon request where applicable.

Nice To Haves

• College courses or culinary school.
• Two to three years of Chef/Cook experience.
