The researcher will delve into complex regulatory frameworks, case law, statutes, and regulatory filings, including utility tariffs, rate design regulations, cost allocation rules, billing compliance, and consumer protection law related to utility services. The Senior Legal Researcher will be central to the legal research function, owning all aspects of case research, including regulatory analysis, statutory interpretation, case law development, expert report evaluation, and discovery support. The work will directly influence litigation strategy, settlement positioning, and client communications. As the company scales, the role will involve mentoring junior researchers and developing research protocols and knowledge management systems.
