About The Position
The successful applicant will be expected to teach introductory biology and nutrition courses and advanced courses in evolution, ecology, and science communication, and contribute to the General Biology curriculum. Engage in professional development activities. Provide service to the Department, School, University, and community. This faculty member reports to the chair of biological sciences, Dr. Elizabeth Emmert. This faculty member does not have budgetary responsibility or authority over other SU employees.
Requirements
- PhD in Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology
- Five or more years of full-time teaching at the undergraduate level
- Experience leading pre-health advisory programs

- Experience researching evolution of traits in birds
