About The Position
JCMLiving is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Senior Leasing Specialist to join our busy apartment leasing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leasing professional—or a talented sales professional looking to build a rewarding career in property management. You’ll work alongside a dynamic, experienced team in a beautiful leasing center, helping prospective residents discover their ideal apartment home while delivering an exceptional customer experience from first contact through move-in. We’re looking for a Senior Leasing Specialist who knows how to close and enjoys creating meaningful connections with prospective residents. The ideal candidate is a confident and personable communicator, comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, computer savvy and organized, experienced in sales, apartment leasing, or market-rent leasing, motivated by achieving leasing goals and delivering excellent service, and a team player who takes pride in creating a welcoming experience. Compensation includes an hourly rate plus commission, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Some weekend hours and one evening per week until 7:00 PM may be required.
Requirements
- Experienced in sales, apartment leasing, or market-rent leasing
- Confident and personable communicator

Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage prospective residents with a warm, professional approach
- Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to inquiries
- Schedule appointments and conduct engaging apartment/community tours
- Follow up consistently with prospective residents and leads
- Present apartments, overcome objections, and close leases
- Prepare leases and complete related administrative responsibilities
- Maintain accurate information in computer and lead-management systems
- Build positive relationships with current residents
- Assist with rent collection and resident account matters
- Coordinate and respond to service requests
- Assist with planning and executing resident events and community activities
- Support the leasing team in achieving occupancy and customer service goals
